(Newark) The New Jersey Devils have signed forward and free agent Tomas Nosek to a one-year, $1 million contract, general manager Tom Fitzgerald announced Wednesday.

Nosek played 66 games with the Boston Bruins last season, and had seven goals and 11 assists. He also appeared in all seven playoff games for the Bruins, who were eliminated in the first round of the Eastern Conference by the eventual Stanley Cup finalists, the Florida Panthers.

Nosek, who hails from the Czech Republic, played 398 career NHL games with the Detroit Red Wings, Vegas Golden Knights and Bruins. He has 42 goals and 59 assists. He also appeared in 59 playoff games, and was a member of the Golden Knights when they reached the Stanley Cup Finals in 2018.
