(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes announced Monday that they have extended the contract of defensive lineman Mustafa Johnson for two seasons.

No. 94 of the Alouettes will play with the club until the end of the 2025 season.

The six-foot-two, 290-pound footballer played in every game for the Alouettes this season and was chosen to the Eastern All-Star team.

Johnson, 24, recorded 43 tackles and seven sacks and scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery.

Johnson has been playing with the Alouettes since the 2022 season.
