All-electric truck and bus manufacturer Lion is reducing its workforce by 10%.

This decision, announced Monday, affects 150 employees.

The management of the company based in the Laurentians maintains that it wants to reduce its costs and improve its ability to achieve its profitability objectives.

The jobs affected by this measure are mainly production support, product development and administration functions, in Canada and the United States.

“This initiative is the most judicious for the company at this stage,” comments founder and CEO Marc Bédard in a press release.
