Bogotá, the latest creation by Colombian-born Montreal choreographer Andrea Peña, will have its world premiere at the Venice Biennale International Contemporary Dance Festival.
This is the very first time that an international choreographer has won the Venice Biennale’s call for a new creation by an artist under the age of 35.
Bogotá is a multidisciplinary intersection between contemporary dance, industrial design and fashion. The work created with 14 collaborators explores the notions of death and resurrection through a Colombian historical perspective.
