The final piece of the puzzle is in place at Team World in preparation for the Laver Cup of tennis.

Australian Nick Kyrgios will join Montreal’s Félix Auger-Aliassime and Americans Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe for the tournament, which will be held September 22-24 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Defending champion, Team World will face Team Europe, which will certainly include Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Russian Andrey Rublev, the first players whose participation has been confirmed by team officials.

Kyrgios has worn the colors of Team World in four of the five editions of the Laver Cup. He missed that of 2022, where Team World won its first title since the creation of the event.

One of the highlights of this triumph was the victory of Auger-Aliassime against the Serbian Novak Djokovic, current world number one.
