The Christmas tradition continues. As the holiday season approaches, singer Mariah Carey has once again managed to take her hit All I Want For Christmas Is You to the top of the world charts.

Billboard’s most recent data, which covers the week ending Dec. 9, places the 1994 song at No. 1 on the worldwide top 200. A position that it occupied at the same time of the year in 2020, 2021 and 2022. Last year the coin remained at the top for five weeks.

The star, who gave a Christmas concert in Montreal last week, is not the only one to stand out thanks to her holiday songs. Wham!, with Last Christmas, Bobby Helms, with Jingle Bell Rock, Ariana Grande, with Santa Tell Me, and Brenda Lee, with Rockin’Around the Christmas Tree, also do well.

As for the American top 100, Brenda Lee’s song sits at the top for the first time since its release 65 years ago.
