From 1976 to 1981, American actress Farrah Fawcett played the character of Jill Munroe in the television series Charlie’s Angels. Over the course of her career, the one who was considered an icon of beauty of the 1970s, had toured with Annie Girardot and Jean-Paul Belmondo in the film A man who pleases me by Claude Lelouch in 1969. During her career, Farrah Fawcett named many times for his roles in Saturn 3, We Killed My Parents and The Protector.

On the side of her private life, she was married to actor Lee Majors, star of The Man Worth Three Billion, in 1973 before divorcing in 1982. After their divorce, she will finally find love in her arms of actor Ryan O’Neal with whom she will have a son named Ryan Redmond.

It was in 2006 that we learned of his illness. The American star has colon cancer. A disease that she tries to treat through chemotherapy sessions. After being operated on, Farrah Fawcett would have made a few stays in a care center in Germany. In 2009, People magazine claimed that his cancer would have spread to other parts of his body, as reported by our colleagues from 20minutes.

On June 25, 2009, Farrah Fawcett died at the age of 62 in the intensive unit at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. The announcement of his death, however, would have gone unnoticed because of the death of the king of pop Michael Jackson, which occurred the same day. The star now rests at Westwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
