the Federal police have discovered a newspaper report that in the past year, in buses and trains more than 14,000 illegally to Germany traveled passengers. According to one of the “Rheinische Post” this collection of the Federal police 7.943 people had been brought in from January to November of trains and further the 6,066 from the remote buses.

The most of them came from Afghanistan, Nigeria, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Rejections there have been at airports, seaports and along the German-Austrian border.

The Buskontrollen could be difficult, therefore, in the future, because the European court of justice has stated in a legal opinion for the Federal administrative court that the Schengen borders code, pass inspections in long distance buses, operated by the respective companies.

Two bus companies from Germany and Spain had filed a complaint against the obligation, before Crossing the German border to control the passengers from third countries on passports and residence permits. The procedure must now decide the Federal administrative court.
