The seventh art is making a comeback. As stars flock to Italy to attend the Venice Film Festival, France is also putting stars in the spotlight for the 48th American Film Festival in Deauville. As usual, the Normandy region welcomes a host of celebrities who present their films from September 2 to 11, 2022.
This year, the French filmmaker Arnaud Desplechin succeeds Charlotte Gainsbourg in the role of president of the jury. The director is accompanied by seven other members to elect the feature film of the year, among the 60 films in competition. At his side, we find Pierre Deladonchamps, Léa Drucker, Alex Lutz, Sophie Letourneur, Yasmina Khadra, Marine Vacth and Jean-Paul Civeyrac.
The other highlight of this event will be the Deauville Festival Revelation distinction. A task handed over to Élodie Bouchez, actress and president of the jury for this 2022 edition. She is accompanied by Andréa Bescond, Eddy de Pretto, Nicolas Pariser, Agathe Rousselle and Yolande Zauberman. An audience of celebrities who walked the red carpet of the festival, on September 2, for the opening ceremony.
