Due to the uncertain weather expected this Wednesday evening in Quebec, the organization of the SuperFrancoFête has decided to postpone until Thursday the Grand spectacle which was to kick off the event at the Agora de Québec.
The twenty artists from the four corners of the Francophonie expected on stage will all be at the station this Thursday, all ticket holders have been notified by email. We will therefore be able to see as planned Diane Dufresne, Khaled, Axelle Red, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Ycare, Claudio Capéo, Sarahmée, Pierre de Maere, Marie-Josée Lord, Radio Radio, Bilal Hassani, Le Flofranco as well as several others. The evening is hosted by Roch Voisine, Cœur de pirate, Gims and Mentissa.
It is the safety and comfort of festival-goers, artists, artisans and production partners that are at the heart of the decision of SISMYK, the musical division of ComediHa!, promoter of the SuperFrancoFête.
On Friday, Congolese rapper Gims will be performing at the Agora du Port de Québec; with more than 5 million albums sold in his career, 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 6 billion views on YouTube, he is one of the most prolific French-speaking artists of his generation. The closing show will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the album D’eux, by Céline Dion, a tribute to which will take part in particular Isabelle Boulay, Corneille, Roch Voisine, Véronic DiCaire, Mario Pelchat, Bruno Pelletier, Camille Lelouche, Amir, Christophe Willem, Élodie Frégé, Anggun, and Axelle Red.
