(Toronto) The Body Shop begins selling its products in Pharmaprix stores.

The partnership marks the first time that Body Shop products have been sold outside of physical stores and the company’s online store.

According to the cosmetics and skincare maker, the move is aimed at making buying the company’s products as convenient as possible.

The partnership will begin with 25 Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart in provinces other than Quebec) stores across the country and the chain’s online store, which is owned by Loblaw Companies.

By 2024, The Body Shop plans to sell its products in 50 pharmacies in the chain.

The UK-based beauty brand says the sites will feature an assortment of bath, body, hair and skin products, including its popular body butters.

“We’re seeing an upward trend in body care purchases in Canada and we welcome The Body Shop products to our lineup because we know that’s what our customers are looking for,” explained the Vice President of prestige beauty products at Pharmaprix, Gwennaëlle Varnier.
