An exhibition of works by American illustrator and muralist Shepard Fairey is organized free of charge, Friday and Saturday, at the premises of the Quebec auctioneer BYDealers, on the initiative of the Montreal art firm in management and collection consulting Elite Art Group.

Shepard Fairey’s works were all produced between 2005 and 2012. One of them is a spectacular mural, OBEY EYE, from 2009, a mixed media on five panels over six meters wide.

The exhibition is an initiative of Charles Verreault, visual arts enthusiast and collector of works from the Quebec art scene. Director of the firm Elite Art Group, he has encouraged artists and galleries since 2006 and created, in 2020, a group of enthusiasts and friends in order to build an international private collection. Elite Art Group is sharing part of its collection with the public over the weekend, highlighting key works by Shepard Fairey.
