Patrick Watson announces not one, but two series of concerts in Montreal in 2024. The first will take place at the MTelus in February in a “normal” version, and the second in November at the Maison symphonique, in an orchestral version with the FILMharmonique Orchestra.

We haven’t seen the singer-songwriter in Montreal since his closing show on the large outdoor stage of the Jazz Festival in 2021, in the middle of a pandemic, apart from a small surprise concert he gave last summer at Molson Park. His previous stint in theaters, memorable sold-out concerts at MTelus, dates back to December 2019, four years ago.

Patrick Watson released his most recent album Better in the Shade in April 2022. He has since been on a major international tour. Only since September he has performed in Mexico, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United States.
