Éric Lapointe will release a new album next fall called Je marche dans ma vie. This announcement confirms his return to the stage.

The rocker will premiere his new compositions on September 9 at the Théâtre Capitole in Quebec. This show will kick off a tour across the province this summer and fall. He will perform in Montreal on October 23, on the MTELUS stage.

The singer had faded from public life after pleading guilty to assaulting a woman in 2020, and receiving a conditional discharge.

Last winter, Éric Lapointe gave a taste of his new project on Facebook, posting a video showing him in the studio, recording an unreleased song.

Official ticket sales begin Friday at 10 a.m.
