Load shedding, even power cuts are to be feared this winter. Supply difficulties are expected, and tensions could arise on the network. To avoid a disaster scenario, the government has put in place an energy sobriety plan and calls on everyone to be responsible. Efforts are particularly required of households during peak consumption, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. and then between 6 and 8 p.m.

If power outages do occur, be sure to unplug your electrical appliances to prevent them from being damaged. In the event of damage, you can file a claim for compensation with the operator of the electricity distribution network.

This requires that you note the date and time of the incident, the estimated amount of damage and the list of damaged devices. Keep the devices in question until compensation. You must also be able to provide proof of purchase and service certificates.
