His voice will forever be associated with the Disney universe. Nathalie Fauran died suddenly on Monday July 11 at just 38 years old, learned ViaTelePaese from the famous studios and relatives of the artist. The singer and actress from Calvi, Corsica, was particularly known for having lent her voice to Mélodie in The Little Mermaid 2 and to Jane in Peter Pan 2 in the early 2000s.

Her incredible journey began when, pushed by friends when she was still just a teenager, she entered a national competition organized by Disney. Her talent won over the jury and she was chosen to play the main character of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Ocean. She is the voice of Melody, the daughter of Ariel and Eric. Released in October 2000, this cartoon is currently available on Disney.

On the strength of this success, the young Corsican artist continued her fairy tale at Disney by interpreting in 2002 the credits of the film Peter Pan 2: return to the imaginary country. This single, titled I Believe, sold 400,000 copies. A card that allowed Nathalie Fauran to sign with Universal to launch her solo career. His first album Instinct was released in 2004, notably with the titles Je compte les lunes and Q ui m’enportera.

The singer has shared the stage with many music stars such as Patrick Fiori, Francis Lalanne, or even Gilbert Montagné. She also participated in the tour of the yellow pieces operation in 2005 with many artists like Lorie, Eve Angeli, Corneille, Matt Pokora, or Alizée. To further expand her palette, she had also joined a theater school in Paris.

ViaTelePaese indicates that Nathalie Fauran was fighting “with strength and courage” against an illness that finally took her.
