During his long career as an actor, Marlon Brando has lived many love stories. Among his conquests, several great American celebrities would have fallen under his spell including Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, Edith Piaf, Ursula Andress, Ava Gardner. In his book A beautiful monster, the French writer François Forestier had painted an unflattering portrait of the actor of A streetcar named Desire.

Marlon Brando was “just an obese ghost, who hangs out in his garden, gives children to his cleaning lady, secretly has hamburgers thrown over the perimeter wall, he eats a dozen in a row , fries included”. The actor has been married three times. His first wife is actress Anna Kashfi. The couple had married in 1957 before divorcing two years later in 1959. From their relationship came into the world a boy named Christian, born in 1958.

A year after his divorce, he finds love again in the arms of American actress Movita Castaneda with whom he has two children: Miko and Rebecca, the latter will be born in 1966, well after the divorce of his parents.

In 1962, the Hollywood actor rebuilt his life with a certain Tarita Tériipaia, a young 19-year-old Polynesian actress. Marlon Brando had met him on the set of the film Les Révoltés. The newlyweds subsequently have two children: Simon Teihotu and Cheyenne Brando. The couple divorced in 1972.

Outside of marriage, comedian Marlon Brando has had several romantic relationships. He notably had three children with his governess Maria Christina Ruiz as well as three adopted children and three children whose mothers are unknown. His first son, Christian, will make the headlines in 1990 and for good reason, he was imprisoned for the homicide of his half-sister’s companion… Explanations.

It is a news item that had hit the headlines. On May 16, 1990, his first son, Christian, shot dead a 27-year-old Tahitian named Dag Drollet at his family villa on Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills. This young man, shot in the head at close range, was the companion of his half-sister Cheyenne who was then eight months pregnant.

Marlon Brando’s son decided to plead guilty so as not to be condemned to perpetuate her for premeditated murder. He was released on $2 million bail thanks to his father who had to mortgage one of his homes. In 1991, Christian Brando was sentenced to ten years in prison before being granted parole for good behavior in 1996.

His half-sister Cheyenne was also charged with “complicity in murder” in July 1990. She was released under judicial supervision. Depressed and supposedly drug addict, she will make many stays in psychiatric hospital before taking herself in 1995 when she was only 25 years old. She will be buried next to her deceased companion Dag.

On July 1, 2004, the leading actor of the 20th century died at the age of 80 following heart failure and respiratory failure. Marlon Brando did not disappear penniless, quite the contrary. He would have left an estate estimated at 21.6 million dollars, including 18.6 million in real estate assets, reports Le Monde. A few weeks before his death, the star had amended his will, naming three executors.

Several heirs are mentioned in his will: Christian Brando, Miko, Teihotu, Rebecca, Maimiti, Raiatua, Nina Priscilla, Myles, Timothy. His grandson Tuki, son of his late daughter Cheyenne, was not included in the will. In 1996, Marlon Brando gave him a million dollars to his ex-wife Tarita in order to educate him. The actor would also have excluded his grandson so that the father of Dag Drollet, Cheyenne’s companion before being killed by Christian Brando, could not have access to the inheritance.
