After undergoing successful surgery to fix multiple fractures in his leg, Conor McGregor was photographed in Los Angeles for the first time.

After undergoing three hours of surgery to fix fractures in his fibula, and tibia, the UFC star was seen sipping on what looked like a Modelo beer upon his return to his hotel.

The photos, which were released on Thursday, show the Irishman being lifted out of his car and placed in a wheelchair.

McGregor was taken from the cage by a stretcher after injuring the leg against Poirier at UFC 264. Poirier received a technical knockout by a doctor stoppage due to the horrific leg snap that appeared to have broken just above his ankle.

McGregor has been active online in the days following the fight. He recently claimed that he was already hurt heading into the highly anticipated rematch.

“I was hurt going into the fight. People kept asking me when the leg was broken. Dana White answered the question. Ask the UFC. Ask Dr. Davidson – The UFC’s head physician. My leg suffered a stress fracture when I entered that cage. He said it was about pulling the thing or.” In an Instagram video, he stated.

McGregor stated that he will need crutches for at most six weeks before he is able to begin “building back.” McGregor has made a promise to make a comeback.

Dana White, president of UFC, suggested that the pair could return for a fourth fight.

White stated that the fight did not end. via MMA Junkie. “You cannot have a fight end that way. We’ll watch how this all plays out. We don’t know how long Conor will be out so Poirier’s going to do his best until Conor is ready.”
