(Paris) There is no change in the top 10 of the WTA rankings published on Monday, still dominated by the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka ahead of the Polish Iga Swiatek.
Russian Daria Kasatkina took 11th place at the expense of American Madison Keys. The Czech Barbora Krejcikova, former No.2 in February 2022, moved up five places to 13th in the world. This is also the case for Qinwen Zheng, who beat her in the final on Sunday in Zhengzhou.
The 21-year-old Chinese returned to the best ranking of her career, at 19th place, already reached last May.
Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko, 14th, Czech Petra Kvitova, 15th, Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic, 16th, Russia’s Liudmila Samsonova, 17th, and Russia’s Veronika Kudermetova, 18th, all fell one place.
Finalist at the 2021 United States Open, Canadian Leylah Fernandez, 43rd at 21, gained 17 places thanks to her third title on the circuit, won Sunday in Hong Kong.
