(LONDON) Canada’s Carol Zhao earned her ticket to the main draw at Wimbledon after beating American CoCo Vanderweghe 7-6 (4), 6-4 in the third round of qualifying on Thursday.

Zhao will appear in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in his career.

The 28-year-old from Richmond Hill, Ont., slammed 11 aces and fielded 82% of her first serves, netting 84% of the points.
