Two belts at stake | Mary Spencer will fight against Femke Hermans

(Montreal) Belgian Femke Hermans’ IBO belt will finally also be on the line when she takes on Canadian Mary Spencer at the Casino de Montreal on October 11.

It was already known that the IBF super welterweight belt would be on the line in the fight, but promoter Eye of the Tiger Management confirmed Tuesday that the IBO title will go to the winner.

Hermans captured the IBO title last December from Spencer.

In their first matchup in Shawinigan on December 16, Hermans (16-4, 7 KOs) got the better of Spencer (7-1, 5 KOs) to win the IBO title. by unanimous decision.
