(Toronto) Bo Bichette is back. His name was removed from the injured list by the Toronto Blue Jays ahead of their Friday night game against the Kansas City Royals.
Bichette has been out since Aug. 27 with a strained right quadriceps. He took part in batting practice at the Rogers Centre, a few hours before the start of the game.
In order to make room for him, infielder Mason McCoy was transferred to the AAA club of the Jays, in Buffalo.
Bichette’s .314 batting average is the best on the Blue Jays and his 18 homers are the second-highest total on the club.
