The OECD predicts that unemployment will shoot to 25.5% if there is regrowth

Only south Africa will overtake in unemployment in Spain before the onslaught of the crisis of the coronavirus among the 33 countries around the globe that analyzes the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in its report “Prospects of employment 2020”. According to forecasts of the organization headed by Angel Gurria, our country will close this year with an unemployment rate of 21.8%, which could skyrocket even further, to 21.5%, if there is a new outbreak in the fall. In both scenarios, Spain will become the second OECD country with a higher unemployment rate , second only to the 35% mark south Africa. The unemployment average projected for the year 2020 would be 19.2% in the scenario
