With a range of almost 400 km and an attractive price (given the nature and performance of this model), the Chevrolet Bolt puts forward very convincing arguments. The American does not have as assertive a character as that of the 500e, but its small turning circle and its compact dimensions make the Bolt a model of agility in the city. The Bolt seats its occupants in a high position and they, especially at the rear, benefit from impressive headroom and a flat floor, which add to the impression of space. On the other hand, the finish could be improved and the quality of the materials – for a vehicle of this price – is cheap.

Just like the 500e, the Mini Cooper SE demonstrates that the transition to all-electric does not dilute the good mood and the pleasure of driving. Due to its limited range (183 km), the Cooper SE cannot be the primary car in the household. Relatively silent, in town it only lets you hear the rubberized footsteps of its tires and on the highway, only aerodynamic rustles. And a few crunches too. Even electrified, it’s definitely a Mini. Lively, practically free of sensations of inertia, and its engine produces vigorous and immediate acceleration. Only offered in three-door format, the Mini SE is not intended for families. Mazda defends the low range (160 km) displayed by the MX-30 by recalling that the vast majority of buyers of “zero-emission” vehicles (86%) have a traditional vehicle for long-distance travel. This didn’t convince everyone. Mazda is removing it from its American catalog this year. The MX-30 therefore seeks to demonstrate that it can offer real driving pleasure.
