Those aged 35 and over will (maybe) remember that in 2006, heiress Paris Hilton recorded an album, titled Paris, which sold 1 million copies in the United States. Seventeen years later, we learn that a second album is in the works.

“I’m recording a new album right now,” Paris Hilton, who was host Jimmy Fallon’s guest on The Tonight Show, confided this week. The album, she said, will be launched next year. It will be produced by Australian singer-songwriter Sia.

A song by Paris Hilton and Japanese-American DJ Steve Aoki, entitled Lighter, was released last week.

Paris Hilton, 42, is now the mother of a 9-month-old boy, whom she had via surrogate mother.
