Pastry reminder: the 7 products concerned

The list of recalled products continues to grow. After salads, meat and cheese, it’s your desserts’ turn to be disrupted by a recall procedure.

Several pastries sold in six E.Leclerc centers are the subject of an alert from the Rappel Conso site. “The HAFNER Company is withdrawing the sale of pie shells following the detection of the presence of salmonella”, reports the government site.

If you have purchased tartlets in an E.Leclerc store recently, check that it is not one of the seven products concerned. In the slideshow below, find the list of recalled pastries.

If you have some in your refrigerator, you have several choices:

The seven pastries concerned have one thing in common: they are all recalled after the detection of the presence of Salmonella in the pie shells.

If swallowed, you could contract salmonellosis. Here is a list of the most common symptoms:

In general, they appear “6h to 72h after consumption of contaminated products”, specifies Rappel Conso.

Pay close attention! Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and immunocompromised people are more vulnerable to this food poisoning.

If you don’t have any of the above symptoms within seven days of ingesting these products, you don’t need to worry or seek medical attention, the alert site adds.
