(Charlotte) Tony Jones Jr. scored two rushing touchdowns, rookie Blake Grupe kicked two field goals and the New Orleans Saints beat the Carolina Panthers 20-17 Monday night to improve their record to 2- 0 at the start of the season for the first time since 2013.

Saints running back Jamaal Williams injured his hamstring during the second quarter. Jones Jr. replaced him and made 12 carries, for 34 yards.
