Documentary “Harry and Meghan”: the prince confides in his mixed-race children

A documentary that adds fuel to the fire. While Prince Harry’s autobiography is set to be released on January 10, 2023, Prince William’s brother and his wife Meghan Markle are making a strong comeback with their autobiography documentary. In the latter, the couple had promised to deliver their truth, in the face of supposed attacks within the Firm itself.

In recent months, the resentment and tensions within the British royal family seemed to have faded in favor of the mourning linked to the disappearance of the sovereign Elizabeth II, on September 8, 2022. As told to us by Kévin Guillot, specialist of the Crown and author of the website Monarchiebritannique.com, the new King Charles III “wishes above all that his family be united again. As proof, at the time of the Queen’s death, he ordered his son William to peace with his brother. This is in no way a way to annoy the Sussexes,” he explained.

Despite this temporary reconciliation, it would seem that the new sovereign is still at odds with his son, who, since January 2020, has decided to renounce his royal titles. “They call each other rarely and usually, it’s about a phone call given by Harry to his father to complain…”.

In the first episodes of this documentary, Prince Harry spoke about the harassment suffered by his wife and about her miscegenation. Following this harassment and the articles published in the British tabloids, the sovereign’s son did not hesitate to step up to defend his wife in an official press release shared in the media. An initiative not to repeat the mistakes of the past.

“My son, my daughter, my children are mixed race and I’m very proud of that. When my children grow up, they find out about all this and they say, ‘What did you do at that time?’ I want to be able to answer them”, he declared in the first part of his documentary and to add: “I believe that it is our responsibility as a man, when we give birth to a child, we must do everything to make the world a better place for them,” he said as images of his son by his side are revealed in the documentary.
