(Toronto) Attendance in the three major Canadian Football League markets increased in the first half of the 2023 season.
The CFL announced Wednesday that average revenue per game in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal has increased 26% compared to the same period last season.
League-wide average earnings are up 2.3%, the CFL said in a statement.
It also appears that Tour fans are younger: viewers aged 25-54 are 29% more likely to watch games.
The league adds that 8.8 million viewers watched a game on TSN and 1.9 million on RDS.
According to the CFL, fan engagement on its social media channels is up 30%, while page views on its website are up 11%.
