(Montreal) Thirty-seven players, including the Montreal Canadiens’ first pick in the last NHL draft, will take part in the team’s development camp, which will take place from July 1 to 4 at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.

Defenseman David Reinbacher, chosen fifth overall by the Habs at the auction held June 28 and 29 in Nashville, will be among the 19 forwards, 13 defensemen and five goaltenders who will hit the ice for the occasion.

In total, six players from the 2023 vintage will be on site.

The list of players invited to the development camp includes 27 prospects drafted by the organization, two players obtained by way of trade, a player obtained as a free agent as well as seven invited players.

Quebecers Joshua Roy and Xavier Simoneau, as well as Miguël Tourigny, William Trudeau and goalkeeper Quentin Miller will be in action.

This will also be the case for Lane Hutson, Logan Mailloux, Owen Beck, Filip Mesar, Riley Kidney and Florian Xhekaj, among others.

The first on-ice training session will take place on Sunday morning, and all practices will be open to the public.

The CH hockey development staff, led by Adam Nicholas, Scott Pellerin, Francis Bouillon and Marie-Philip Poulin, will lead the on-ice training along with the group of Laval Rocket coaches, composed of Jean-François Houle, Kelly Buchberger , Martin Laperriere and Marco Marciano.
