(Dallas) Tyler Seguin scored another power-play goal and the Dallas Stars beat the Minnesota Wild 4-0 on Tuesday to take a 3-2 lead in the West’s first-round series.

Seguin scored in the third minute of the game, eight seconds into a penalty imposed on Marcus Foligno. The latter received a game misconduct following a knee injury at the expense of Radek Faksa.

Seguin converted a rebound, scoring his fourth power play goal since the start of the series.

He also took part in the Mason Marchment net early in the second period.

Seguin was playing his 100th career playoff game. That includes winning the Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011, his first season in the National League.

Jason Robertson also had a penalty shootout goal and an assist.

Roope Hintz had three assists in a second straight game.

Ty Dellandrea completed in an empty net, while Jake Oettinger blocked 27 shots.

The Wild got power play advantages at 4:38 and 7:57 in the middle period. Oettinger didn’t flinch, making nine saves during penalties.

The Stars will have the chance to end the series Friday night in Minnesota. A final game would take place on Sunday in Dallas.

Hit in the knee by Foligno, Faksa had to get help off the ice, but came back into play midway through the first period.

Robertson hit the mark with a wrist shot in the middle of the first period.

Filip Gustavsson stopped 21 pucks for the Wild side, which went 0 for 3 with an opponent in the dungeon.
