Kick-off for the 2022 income declaration campaign. From this Thursday, April 13, 2023, everyone can go to their personal impots.gouv space to check their automatic declaration. The latter must be validated no later than May 25, June 1 or June 8, depending on the department of residence:

In the case of paper tax returns, tax households have until May 22, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. to submit it. The postmark is authentic. Note: only households whose main residence is not equipped with Internet access, or those unable to make their declaration online have the right to opt for the paper format.

One of the major novelties in 2023 is the revaluation of the tax scale provided for by the 2023 finance law. To compensate for the harmful effects of inflation, the latter has been revalued by 5.4%. Here is the progressive scale applicable to 2022 income:
