The life of singer Francis Lalanne is very surprising. He was born on August 8, 1958 on the plane bringing his mother back from Jordan. Her father is a Basque United Nations diplomat in the Middle East. After obtaining his baccalaureate, Francis Lalanne moved to Paris to begin studies in modern literature at the University of the Sorbonne. Alongside his career as an artist and politician, Francis Lalanne bought the company Starlux, specializing in the manufacture of miniatures when the latter was bankrupt in 1997. “When I was little, I was almost autistic. I was talking to objects. Eventually it was Starlux figurines that got me talking to people. (…) It was my childhood that was in liquidation”, he explained to our colleagues from Figaro. Unfortunately, the star was caught up in debt and the company went out of business in 2003.

After having been director of the publishing house Les Belles Lettres and Atlas editions, Francis Lalanne was between 2004 and 2013, president of the AS Fresnoy-le-Grand club of the Aisne district. In 2013, the singer finally landed from the club after disputes with David Michel, the former manager of the football club.

The star was reportedly in a relationship with a certain Stella Sulak.
