The French will not skip their well-deserved summer vacation this year. After two years punctuated by restrictions linked to the health crisis, and inflation which unfortunately affects many sectors, it seems that holidaymakers are not considering reducing their planned spending for their holidays.

According to an Ifop study carried out for Interhome*, a seasonal rental specialist, more than half of respondents plan to keep the same holiday budget as the previous year. Moreover, 18% of them think they are making an extra financial effort to avoid affecting the quality of their stay in the face of rising prices.

This need for holidaymakers to save money this year has been confirmed by another study, this time carried out by Opinion Way for Liligo**. The latter reveals that the French will spend an average of 1,028 euros per person, or 149 euros more than during the last summer holidays.
