After a residential fire east Ottawa, one person remains unaccounted for

After an early Saturday morning fire east from Ottawa, one person remains unaccounted for.

Just after 6 a.m., emergency crews responded to a call about a house fire on Rollin Road, Saint-Pascal-Baylon (Ont. in Russell County).

According to the Ontario Provincial Police, “One person was not found by emergency responders and another person was taken to the hospital by Prescott-Russell Emergency Medical Services EMS with non-life threatening injuries.”

The Russell County OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshal continue to investigate.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

Saint-Pascal-Baylon can be found 15 km southeast of Clarence-Rockland.
