The ports of Santander and Alicante have joined since yesterday Tuesday to the list of points of entry into Spain by sea allowed for to have capacity to respond to health emergencies public international importance, with the increasing demand of reopening of international lines with passengers.
According to the ministerial order published Tuesday in the Official State Bulletin (BOE), the port authorities shall ensure the sanitary control of the entry of passengers of the international line on those ports, for which they will hire services of medical personnel, who will coordinate Health Foreign.
Both ports are joined in this way to those already designated in another order of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, published may 23: Barcelona, Bilbao, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife, Valencia and Vigo .
In the case of air transportation, this order does not introduce changes in the list of airports designated as points of entry in Spain allowed, a constraint that seeks to minimize the risk of importing cases of coronavirus in the process of desescalada and that will only be in effect for the duration of the alarm state (until 7 June, in principle).
In that list are the airports of Seville, Menorca, Ibiza, Lanzarote-César Manrique from lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Tenerife South, Alicante-Elche, Valencia, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Gran Canaria, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Malaga-Costa del Sol and Palma de Mallorca.
The limitation, which will be in force until the end of the alarm state, applies to passenger flights originating at any airport situated outside of Spanish territory, and to ships that provided regular service.
Also to ships of ro-ro and passenger ships that provided regular service with origin in any port situated outside of Spanish territory with passengers that are not the drivers of the tractors of the goods traffic.
The list of input points can be changed, if it is agreed in conjunction with a autonomous community to modify, enlarge or restrict any of the measures provided for in the order.
