(Montreal) The Montreal engineering firm WSP Global announced Wednesday that it has acquired the Quebec firm LGT, specializing in building engineering, for an unspecified sum.

LGT, which offers consulting services in mechanics, electricity, sustainable development, structures and civil engineering, has more than 150 employees and has offices in Quebec, Laval, Rimouski and Sept-Îles.

LGT, whose foundation dates back to 1998, is also recognized for its cutting-edge expertise in the field of data centers and critical infrastructures.

Combining the two companies’ know-how in the data center industry should strengthen the company’s capabilities in this growing market overall, according to WSP Global CEO Alexandre L’Heureux. from Canada.
