(Silvaplana) Canada’s Evan McEachran won silver in the men’s slopestyle freestyle skiing event at the World Cup in Silvaplana, Switzerland on Saturday.
The Ontarian finished the final with a total of 93 points.
Sweden’s Jesper Tjader won the gold medal with a total of 94.25 points while Norway’s Birk Ruud completed the podium with a total of 92.50 points.
It was McEachran’s first podium finish since January 2022, when he captured bronze in Mammoth Mountain, California.
The 26-year-old McEachran competed at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, where he finished sixth in slopestyle.
In 2022, at the Beijing Olympics, he finished ninth in the long jump and 24th in the slopestyle.
