(Brampton) Lina Ljungblom scored four goals to lead Sweden to a 6-2 victory over Hungary on Saturday in a Group B game at the World Women’s Hockey Championship in Brampton, Ont.

Linnea Andersson and Hilda Svensson scored the other goals for Sweden (1-1), which opened the tournament with a 6-2 loss to Germany on Thursday.

Reka Dabasi and Mira Seregely provided the cue for Hungary (1-1), who beat France 4-2 in their inaugural game, also on Thursday.

The Swedes took control of the game by building a 4-2 lead after the first period.

After Ljunblom netted the first two goals of the game, Seregaly and Dabasi put Hungary in a tie. Ljungblom and Andersson fought back to restore Sweden to a two-goal lead.

Ljunblom completed his productive day’s work by scoring the only goal of the second period. Svensson added Sweden’s sixth goal in the third period.
