Windsor International Film Festival Presents WIFF Under the Stars: A Weekend of Movie Magic
The Windsor International Film Festival is bringing movie magic to the community with WIFF Under the Stars this weekend. From June 7-9, movie-goers can enjoy a series of free outdoor film screenings at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre.
As part of the festival’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, Managing Director Hayden Freker expressed gratitude to the community for their support. The event aims to kick off the milestone year with a bang, offering a diverse lineup of films for all ages and tastes.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to settle in for a weekend of cinematic entertainment. In addition to the outdoor screenings, WIFF will continue its annual festival from October 24 to November 3. Freker emphasized the importance of hosting events like WIFF Under the Stars throughout the year to engage with the community on a regular basis.
Sunday’s lineup includes beloved films such as “The Little Mermaid,” “The Princess Bride,” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2.” The screenings offer a mix of nostalgia and excitement for movie enthusiasts of all ages.
