According to La Chaîne Météo forecasts, the summer should go into extra time throughout France… But the heat will be more and more heavy and stormy over the week.
“Monday, it will be very hot, except near the English Channel due to a north-easterly wind which is still quite sensitive. South of the Garonne, a stormy development is envisaged in the afternoon, in connection with the rise of the Portuguese depression”, explains the forecaster.
But here it is: the risk of thunderstorms increases on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 August. As for the day of the new school year, September 1, “the trend is for unstable and stormy weather in the south of France under low pressure influence”.
