A dry, hot and stormy summer. The season that is reaching out to us should be rather classic and without excess, despite an early heat wave in June which defied all heat records in France.

At the dawn of July, the forecasts are summer: as indicated by BFMTV, “France could again experience an intense heat wave from the beginning of next week”. Strong heat which should be particularly sensitive in the south-east of the territory, where peaks at 40°C could be reached locally.

For the time being, Météo France does not envisage intense heat, but the tone could change on Monday, when a rise in temperatures is already expected, especially in the south of the country. “The estimates will have to be further refined in the days to come and could be revised upwards”, underlines the continuous news channel. “To this heat, it will be necessary to add a heavy climate due to rains and thunderstorms which should affect the departments further north”, concludes BFMTV.

On Tuesday July 5 and Wednesday July 6, 2022, the mercury could still exceed 35°C in many departments, and again up to 40°C locally. What are the temperatures expected at your place next week?
