A week under the sign of spring. Perhaps you have swapped your big coat for a lighter jacket since Monday? You were right, because the temperatures have been mild in recent days, with around 10°C in the morning and around 15°C in the afternoon in a large part of France. The sun was shining, despite a few showers in places.

If you were able to savor the start of spring, don’t rejoice too soon, because the weather will change completely this weekend, with the return of the cold and the arrival of a strong gale in the Hexagon. As La Chaîne Météo explains, the transition to summer time will be disrupted and cold, particularly on Sunday March 26: “The rains will be abundant and the winds strong. The snow will make a strong comeback from the medium altitude”.

Here are the temperatures expected at home on Sunday, according to Météo France forecasts:

While waiting for this drop in temperatures, many departments will have to deal with major weather events, particularly with regard to wind and storms. In all, Météo France has placed 65 departments on yellow alert for various risks. Among them, 47 are for thunderstorms that can be violent locally. Thunder, lightning, rain… The sky promises to be rough in these areas from Thursday night to Friday for some and until Friday night to Saturday for others. Check out the forecast below.
