A festival regular returns to Italy. The actress Virginie Efira was present this Sunday, September 4, 2022 for the 79th edition of the Venice Film Festival. Last year, member of the jury, the sublime actress returns in The Children of the Roads, the new film by Rebecca Zlotowski in competition for the Golden Lion.

In this fiction, the actress plays the role of Rachel, a dynamic forty-something who crosses paths with Ali (played by Roschdy Zem) whose charm she falls under. The latter is the father of Leïla (Callie Ferreira), aged 4, for whom the heroine will fall in love. “She tucks it in, takes care of it, and loves it as her own. But, loving other people’s children is a risk worth taking…”, is it indicated in the synopsis of the film.

On the occasion of the presentation of the feature film to the press, the actor Roschdy Zem returned to his role in The children of others. “When Rebecca offers me the film, I feel like I’m the privileged guest in this story, in this sorority”, according to comments relayed by Paris Match. “He is a character who is confronted with a modernity of which he does not yet have the codes. He experiences feelings, but does not yet know how to formulate them or how to manage them within his couple”.

As for her playing partner, Virginie Efira mentioned the heroine of the film, quoting the author Gustave Flaubert. “Anything watched long enough becomes interesting”, she justified herself according to our colleagues. Before discovering the work of Rebecca Zlotowski on September 21 in dark rooms, the three protagonists and its director paraded on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival.

As usual, the companion of Niels Schneider caused a sensation in front of the photographers dressed in a long red dress with a slit in velvet signed Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Sublimated with a river of Cartier jewels and pumps with rhinestone buckles, she did not hesitate to parade with elegance under their flashes by revealing her beautiful legs and her sublime chest.
