Love, humor and oval balloon. In the 1980s, Vincent Moscato began his career in rugby where he played as a hooker. Trained at UA Gaillac where he lives with his family after leaving Paris, the player defends the colors of several French clubs.
In 1984, Vincent Moscato joined the SC Albi club for a season, before joining SC Graulhet from 1985 to 1988. But it was with the Bègles Bordeaux team that the sportsman shone by winning the title of champion of France in 1991. At the same time, the rugby player was selected to defend the colors of the France team. A tricolor jersey that he wore four times until 1992.
In the mid-1990s, Vincent Moscato joined the ranks of the Bordeaux stadium (1993-1995), then he made a brief stint at CA Brive. Before arriving in 1996 in the club of the French stadium in Paris, with which the rugby player won a second title of champion of France in 1998. The following year, the former French international put an end to his career as jock.
However, Vincent Moscato did not give up his passion for the oval ball since he trained the Metro racing 92 and the Paris university club in the 2000s. But it was on television that he will bounce back by becoming a consultant sportsman for France Télévisions. Then, on the radio in 2005 in Sud Radio and finally RMC which he joined in 2006. A radio station in which he has spent his entire career hosting several shows.
A true jack-of-all-trades, Vincent Moscato knows how to surprise in several areas. Actor in several films at the cinema (Asterix at the Olympic Games, Camping 2, Le fils à Jo…), fiction on television (Léo Mattéi, Astrid and Raphaëlle…), the comedian has also shown his talents as a dancer on the track of Dancing with the Stars (2018) in the arms of Candice Pascal on TF1.
However, it is another woman who makes the heart of Vincent Moscato beat. For several years, the host has been sharing the life of Krystel, whom he met almost 20 years ago. Asked by our colleagues from Gala, the couple returned to their meeting “on All Saints’ Day, in 2003, through a mutual friend”.
“Krystel was leaving for Australia the next day to dive – she was a professional diver – and I for the Rugby World Cup”, explained the former sportsman. His wife adds. “And completely by chance, we ended up on the same flight.” Yet at the time, Vincent and Krystel were married on their own. “Our meeting changed everything,” assures the star of the Moscato Show.
Unable to hide their mutual feelings, the two lovers left for their partner to start a new life together. “Let’s say that knowing who you want and are going to grow old with is the most important choice of your life, right? In any case, it is for me”, confessed Vincent Moscato in front of his half. “For me too it was obvious. Especially since I have a passionate temperament, therefore whole, sincere. With Vincent, I had the certainty of meeting the one who was destined for me. I was fine with my ex-husband, but what I’m going through today is what I’ve always dreamed of.”
Married since 2011, Krystel and Vincent Moscato form a large blended family with their five children. “We had two each and we have a daughter together, Paola”. United and happy, the couple appears in the company of their loved ones on social networks and became grandparents for the first time of a little Paul, born in December 2021.
