As every year, the first day of April is placed under the sign of humor. Around the world, everyone has spread the word to lay a (more or less successful) trap for those around them and sometimes the joke goes viral on social networks.

For the best, like the fast food brand Burger King. Last year, the French branch of the American brand amused its customers by distributing their meals to them… In McDonald’s paper bags. An unusual advertisement that has whetted the appetite of Internet users, many having relayed the deception on social networks.

For the worse too, like the Deliveroo app. Also in France, the British brand specializing in the delivery of ready meals played a bad trick on its customers, making them believe that the bill to be paid for their order amounted to a pharaminous sum. Like a customer who seemed to have ordered “38 Acciuga pizzas and 50 hot sauces for a total of 466.40 euros”. A very salty addition and difficult to swallow for some Internet users, before the joke turns into a fiasco.
