American rock band The War On Drugs will stop in Montreal this summer.

The lineup will perform at MTELUS on July 14. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., promoter evenko said Wednesday. Country-folk singer-songwriter Shaina Hayes will open for the show.

Slowly but surely, The War On Drugs have been making their mark since their 2008 debut with Wagonwheel Blues. Released in 2017, his fourth opus, A Deeper Understanding won the Grammy award for best rock album. His most recent cake, I Don’t Live Here Anymore, was released in 2021.
