Jessie J revealed that she had a terrible miscarriage when she was pregnant with her first baby.

On Wednesday night, the 33-year-old singer posted on Instagram that she was told she had lost her baby.

After revealing that she had separated from Max Pham, her boyfriend for seven months, Jessie said she’d ‘decided’ to have a child on her own.

The bereaved songstress stated that she was still in shock but decided to perform in Los Angeles on Wednesday night ‘because singing will heal me’.

Jessie also posted a photo of her holding an untested pregnancy test. Jessie wrote, “Yesterday morning, I was laughing with my friend and said, “seriously though, how am I going get through my gig tomorrow night in LA without telling the entire audience that I am pregnant?”

“By yesterday afternoon, I was dreading thinking about getting through the gig without falling apart…

“After my third scan, I was told that there was no heartbeat. It’s been a great morning. It feels like I don’t have control over my emotions. This may be something I regret. It could be. I don’t really know.

The majority of American women have two ultrasound scans done during pregnancy. One in the first trimester to confirm the due dates, and one at 18-22 weeks to confirm normal anatomy, the gender, and to confirm that the baby is sexy.

Jessie has previously spoken out about undiagnosed health issues and told fans that she could not go through a day without experiencing significant pain.

In an Instagram post, she told her millions of followers that she was going to sing tonight – not because she is grieving, but because music will bring comfort.

She wrote, “I know that some people will think she should cancel it,”

“But at this moment, I am clear on one thing. When I was young, I began singing for joy, to fill me soul, and self-love therapy. This hasn’t changed, and I must process it my way.

“I want to be truthful and real and not hide my feelings. That is what I’m entitled to. I want to be the best version of myself in this moment. My little baby, who did her best, and I are not only for the audience.

“I know who I am and I know that I would speak about it on stage.” Instead of trying to express my emotions in a tearful speech, I am able to use this platform to do so. This is safer.

“I made the decision to have a child on my own. Because it’s all that I ever wanted. And because life is too short. It was a miracle to get pregnant. I will never forget it and will do it again.

“I’m still in shock. The sadness is overwhelming. But I know that I am strong and that I will be okay.

“I know that millions of women around the world have experienced this pain, and even worse. I feel connected with those I know and those I don’t.

“It’s the most lonely feeling in the whole world. I’m sure that you will be there tonight LA.

“I may make fewer jokes, but my heart will still be in the room.”

Jessie also shared this quote from Seyda nor: “Sometimes love won’t be enough for it to work and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed’.

Jessie’s post was commented by a number of celebrities and influencers who expressed condolences.

Pixie Lott wrote, “I’m so sorry Jessie Sending Loads of Love” while Love Island star Gabby Allen posted a heart emoticon.

YouTuber Saffron barker also shared the sentiment, writing: “I am so sorry. My heart is with you.”

Jessie’s heartbreak comes one month after she revealed that Max, her dancer boyfriend, had split.

During an Instagram live, the singer said that ‘nothing dramatic happened’ between them.

The Bang Bang singer said that Max, his dancer, was an “amazing man” and added that they had been friends for a while.

Jessie answered a question about her relationship status and said: “Open, happy, and loving me.”

“Max and I have been friends for quite some time now. Nothing was dramatic. Don’t react too much.

“He is an incredible man. Both of us have such respect for and love for one another. It was just not right romantically. We decided to be friends.

“It becomes strange and difficult when people live in the past. That is why I don’t even talk about it.

“I don’t like how big of a deal other people can make about your personal breakups.

“We are both happy, live and love our lives.”

Jessie began dating Max, a choreographer, earlier this year. This was four months after she split with actor Channing Tatum.

Channing was first seen with Price Tag’s hitmaker in October 2018 in Seattle.

One month later, Logan Lucky’s star was seen at one of her concerts along with Everly, his daughter, who he shares with Jenna Dewan. The singer also caught up to a London performance, which featured his Magic Mike Live show. He wrote and helmed it.

According to reports, the couple split in November 2019 and reunited in January 2019.

However, their relationship was brief and they parted ways in April.

Channing has been seen out with Zoe Kravitz several times recently, but they have not publicly confirmed their relationship.
