(Dallas) Filip Forsberg scored a goal and an assist in the third period in a 6-3 win for the Nashville Predators against the Dallas Stars on Friday.

Ryan O’Reilly scored and added two assists. Jérémy Lauzon, Tommy Novak, Gustav Nyquist and Juuso Parssinen also hit the target in the victory. Roman Josi had three assists.

Jake Oettinger was back in net for the Stars, having been out since December 15 due to a lower body injury. He made 32 saves.

“I think Jake did well,” said Stars head coach Peter DeBoer. The priority tonight was for him to play and be healthy, without feeling any pain again. He is not to blame for the defeat. »

The Predators are 6-0-1 in their last seven road games.

Jani Hakanpaa, Wyatt Johnston and Matt Duchene scored the Stars’ goals.

Lauzon and Novak gave the Predators a 2-0 lead in the second period.

Hakanpaa scored early in the third period, then O’Reilly gave the Predators a two-goal lead less than three minutes later.

On the power play, Duchene found the back of the net to cut the lead to 4-3, but Nyquist and Parssinen added goals into an empty net.

Kevin Lankinen stopped 19 pucks. The latter is 6-3-0 this season, behind starter Juuse Saros.
