The concept of the founder and artistic director of Cabaret Bio Dégradable, Didier Morissonneau, will be exported to Paris at the end of the month, at the Théâtre Tristan Bernard.

It was a matter of time before France took hold of the concept, both simple and effective, of these hilarious evenings during which stage artists read extracts from the worst autobiographies of Quebec stars.

Obviously, the French Organic Degradable Cabaret will focus on publications by French stars. For example, we will discuss the autobiographies of the singer Plastic Bertrand, the reality TV star Nabilla, the jet-setter Massimo Gargia, the singer Sheila and even a former Miss France, Élodie Gossuin.

It was producer Pascal Guillaume who decided to import the concept after attending an evening at Cabaret Bio Dégradable before the pandemic. His cabaret will take place from October 26 to December 21 at the Tristan Bernard Theater. Eight French actors will read the texts.

The Quebec version is celebrating its 15th anniversary. A tour will begin on December 14 at the Théâtre du Petit Champlain in Quebec before stopping at the Lion d’Or in Montreal on January 6.
